Designers should not be storing client orders in their own garage. We receive, inspect, and hold your furniture and decor, then white-glove deliver and place it at the project when the room is ready.
We accept and inspect deliveries, store them safely, and white-glove deliver and place each piece at the project, so you are not juggling freight, garages, and delivery windows.
Receiving and delivery built for designers.
Interior projects arrive in pieces over weeks: a sofa here, a light fixture there, a rug from across the country. Without a receiving service, those orders pile up in garages and offices, get damaged, and have to be hauled to the client one carload at a time.
Royal Moving & Storage gives designers a receiving and delivery service. We accept and inspect every delivery, store it safely, consolidate the order, and white-glove deliver and place it at the project on the day the room is ready, so the install looks effortless.
We move households and businesses across San Jose and the wider Silicon Valley. Pick your city for details on the neighborhoods, building access, and local routes our crews handle.
Storing client orders yourself is how pieces get lost and dinged.

Get client orders off your garage floor.
Tell us about your projects and the orders coming in. We will receive, inspect, and store them, then white-glove deliver and place everything when the room is ready.
You have vendors ship client orders to our facility. We receive and inspect each piece, store it safely, consolidate the order, and white-glove deliver and place it at the project when the room is ready.
2. Do you inspect items when they arrive?
Yes. We check each piece on arrival and note its condition, so any freight damage is caught at receiving rather than discovered in front of your client on install day.
3. How long can you hold an order?
As long as the project needs. Orders are held in secure storage until the room is ready, which pairs with our storage service for longer holds.
4. Do you deliver and place the furniture?
Yes. We white-glove deliver, unwrap, and place each piece at the project, the same level of care described on our white glove moving page.
5. Can you consolidate pieces that arrive over weeks?
Yes. That is the point of receiving. We gather pieces arriving over time into one organized delivery, so the install happens in a single, coordinated visit instead of a dozen trips.
6. Is this only for residential projects?
No. We handle residential design projects and larger commercial buildouts, which connect to our FF&E logistics for furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
7. Are your movers licensed and insured?
Yes. Royal Moving & Storage operates under California household goods carrier license CAL-T 191476 and carries full cargo and liability coverage on every job. If your building or property manager requires a Certificate of Insurance, we can issue one named to your property before move day.
